RECORDS
In the the records tab, I have listed four records: Vital Records, Obits, and Grave-markers, and Census Records. Each of these has its own unique source of information that will help you to find more about your family. Vital records will help you maybe to find the place of birth, the name of the father and mother of the person you are trying to find. Obits will help you to find nearly recent family members, it may have a life story about the person. Headstone photos will help you find the dates of birth and death and maybe a date of death of a spouse, or if its a gold mind, maybe there is a family plot where all the members of the family are buried together. Census records will help you in listing all the family members at the time of the census. The information on the census varies from year to year. They are taken every ten years here in Canada. The lastest one is 1921
Within this tab, I have uploaded a couple of examples of the various types of BC Vital Records.
